Our membership model supports our vision to create an intellectual home where emerging and established scholars, and members of the general public, can build relationships, receive mentorship and scholarship support, cultivate critical scholarship and debate ideas beyond the constraints of the university.

Membership is open to people from all walks of life, from both inside and outside academia, at all career stages. A curiosity to learn and debate is our only criteria.

Annual membership subscription contributions operate on a sliding scale: Academics in secure employment or who are retired will contribute a higher amount, while scholars in precarious employment will be offered a reduced fee. Members of the general public will also contribute according to a sliding scale. Stand by for more information on membership.

Support from higher tier members and individual donors will enable
opportunities for scholarly ideas to reach people beyond or excluded from the academy, circulating through public education and cultural life.

Members will receive regular bulletins, access to social media content, and discounts for courses and events. They can also attend AGMs and participate in debates on Charivari policy and strategic direction.
